Bandai helping keep toddlers occupied at Heathrow this Easter

This is not going to be a big shock to any of us parents, but new research out by Heathrow shows that 1 in 5 parents shun foreign holidays because of the stress and worry of travelling with children. when I read this I was totally not surprised.

I remember last year when I was planning to take the boys to Florida, the main thing I worried about was what to do at the airport, and what am I going to do if they wont behave. Well luckily for me they weren’t too bad, and thankfully we weren’t delayed but if there had been somewhere they could have gone to run around and have a play it would have been a godsend.

Well Lucky young travellers flying from Heathrow this Easter will be able to partake in a spot of fun at a special play area in Terminal 5 created by Heathrow in association with toy company Bandai.

The area is going to be open over Heathrow’s busiest weekend of the holidays Friday 8th – Sunday 10th, and will feature Tinga Tinga Toys, Amouron – the lightweight role playing armour suits, and lots of children’s entertainers, puppet shows and games all weekend.

The fun doesn’t stop there though on Monday 11th April Heathrow will be having a costume character day, with the chance for the kids to meet and greet some of their favourite heroes including Ben 10′s Humungosaur. Plus all this week Peppa Pig and the Easter bunny have been entertaining the children.

So if your travelling out from Heathrow over this weekend, take the opportunity to let the kids have a good play and run around before your flight, with any luck if you wear them out enough they will crash out once they get on the plane and you can have a well deserved peaceful flight.
