Britax B Range – B-Lite

The B range of pushchairs are Britax’s brand new 2010 line. There are 4 models in all, The Britax B-Lite, B-Mobile, B-Smart and the B-Dual.

Looking around online I got a bit confused as to which of the new Britax B’s I needed, and also which set of features I was looking at. ┬áSo to try and help cut through the Buggy filled fog here is my four part review of each of the Britax B models.

This first part concentrates on the Britax B-Lite, please click below for my reviews of the

Britax B-Lite:

The B-lite is the cheapest of Britax’s new range, it’s their lightweight umbrella stroller offering. That doesn’t mean that it’s the poor relation of the family by any means, the B-Lite is compact and nippy, great for around town shopping trips or if you use public transport a lot. Also umbrella fold strollers aren’t just for toddlers anymore, even though the B-Lite is lightweight and easy to fold it’s suitable from birth as it reclines flat for your newborn.

Being the entry model there are little bells and whistles to this pushchair, what you see is what you get. It does however have everything you need from your basic lightweight like

  • Compact and easy folding with automatic lock
  • Ability to recline the seat into multiple positions, including lay flat for newborns
  • Lockable / Swivel front wheels
  • Large Shopping basket
  • Puncture resistant tyres
  • Handy zipped pocket on the rear of the hood for easy access to little things like keys, phone, purse
  • Zip on hinge protectors, giving you peace of mind that little ones fingers wont get trapped
  • 2 Year manufacturers warranty
  • Available in two colours Venetian Red or Neon Black

If your looking for a supped up Pram or travel system read on for my reviews of the other Britax B models, however if Compact, Lightweight, Easy to fold is more your thing, the Britax B-Lite is all those things and a little bit more.
