Cadbury Spots V Stripes Race Season

You can be forgiven to have forgotten about it a bit because of all this royal wedding palaver, but next year is a really big deal for the UK with the Olympics coming to London and Cadbury’s are doing their best to get us all competitive and even help us break some records of our own.

Cadbury’s who are the official treat partner of the London 2012 Olympic games and Paralympic Games are laying down a series of 9 challenges as part of their Spots V Stripes campaign. The Cadbury Spots V Stripes Race season’s aim is to inspire the nation to get playing some fun games, and maybe break a record or too along the way.

My Thomas decided to have a go at the fastest coin stacker challenge (were on the Stripes team by the way, go stripes!) I didn’t think he did too badly with his time of 1 min 30 secs, that was until I logged onto www.spotsvstripes.com and saw that the fastest time so far is 14.71 seconds!! Ok he was never going to beat that, but he did have a good go bless him.

To coincide with the Race season there is also a new chocolate bar called the Big Race Bar, which is chocolate, wafer and little rice crispy type pieces. It’s different, but not different in a bad way, just not what I was expecting. It’s hard to put your finger on why, but I want another one :)
